As i tell most of my clients: There are 2 types of domain.. “Vanity” domains which are your branded keywords (or company name) and there are “Keyword” domains.. these are usually geared for websites that will depend on search for its primary business.. but today @MattCutts he is telling us that low-quality content on the pages of a keyword domain is going to result in a poor quality score and hence .. poor rankings.

This doesn’t mean that you need to be worried about whether or not your domain will be on the chopping block.. it just means that the content on the pages of these keyword domains needs to be original and engaging. Make sure that you head over to copyscape after you post content and check against similarly worded documents, and make sure that the content your writing/entering ranks well in the Flesch Reading Ease test.
