The WordPress 3.1 App is Out

Not too sure how many people actually use the WordPress app for Iphone.. hell i admin about 70 WordPress websites and i barely use the thing. but with this new release of the WordPress 3.1 that may change.

I guess they realize the app is a little combersome and dull with limited colors and a UI that compares to a black and white low-budjet theme.. and dont get me wrong.. it still kinda does.. but now they have added a few colors and better interface, and the dashboard actually looks like the dashboard from your desktop.. there are a few comparisons being tossed around such as the interface looking like the twitter app, or the slide out menu looking like facebooks,. plus a few more that will in all likleyhood get someone into court.

A few of the other noted changes is the registration page, a number of nice little icons have been added to the system and landscape view (finally). The added functionality in the system has included a Friend Finder thats discovers friends that blog through the website, plus a few ipad specific options,. of which i dont have one so if you have an ipad leave a comment and tell us how you like it.
